Awa, Awal,Awacha, Awale

 अव, अवाल, अवाले, अवचा, जकमी, शिखरकार, बाज्यौ, मलेकार, मल्क, मल्कजु

नेवार समुदायको विभिन्न थरहरू मध्य अव अथवा अवाल एक रहेको छ। ठाउँ विशेष अनुसार अव, अवाल, अवाले, अवचा भनिए ता पनि यी थर एकै हुन्। भक्तपुरमा अव अथवा अवाल भनिन्छ भने, बनेपा, धुलिखेल, ललितपुर तिर अवाले भनिन्छ। त्यस्तै ठाउँ विशेष अवा र अवचा भनिन्छ। अव थर निर्माण सम्बन्धी काम गर्ने जाति विशेष हुन्। अव भन्नाले डकर्मी काम गर्ने जाति हुन् साथै इट्टा बनाउने र पोल्ने काम गर्छन्। त्यस्तै काम विशेष हेरेर अन्य उप समूह पनि रहेका छन्। जस्तै पर्खाल र जग निर्माण सम्बन्धी काम गर्ने जकमी, छाना निर्माण, मर्मत र गजुर सम्बन्धी काम गर्ने शिखरकार/शिक्रकार र अन्य बाज्यौ, मलेकार, मल्क, मल्कजु थर रहेका छन्।

यस मध्ये शिखरकार/शिक्रकार भने उराय समूह भित्र पर्छ।
